CE Marking and the New Approach Directives
www.newapproach.org/Directives/DirectiveList.asp is a very good website that provides links to the Directives that require CE Marking. Another useful feature of this site is that it lists the EN standards which are harmonised to each of the directives. This is very useful when looking to see what standard can apply to your product. This website also links the the European Commission's detailed webpages that provide background information and guidance documents on the New Approach Directives.
http://www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/sectors/sustainability/regulations/index.html is a very good webpage of the United Kingdom's Government's Department For Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly DTI). This website also covers the New Approach Directives as well as the General Product Safety Directive. It also provides some good easy to read, guidance documents which can be freely downloaded in PDF format.
